installed, removed from rock,
and subjected to salt fog
corrosion testing for 11 days.
Total weight loss due to
corrosion 0.87%
Note: some rust staining
beginning to show especially
on the plate.
In our opinion attack of corrosion was absorbed by the galvanized coating.
There is some minor rusting where the coating was scraped during removal.
Weight loss from corrosion was less than half that suffered by plain steel bolts!
